About Mango

35% sativa | 65% indica

The indica cannabis strain Mango has been around every since the 60's, but evolved after being crossed with KC 33 and rendering us the Mango strain we know of today. When harvest-ready, this strain produces extremely large buds with leaves baring darker reds and violets. The smell and taste are reminiscent of sweet mangoes, where this strain derives its name.

The parent strains of Mango are the indica Afghani and the hybrid KC 33.

The THC level averages between 15-20%. Its high renders the consumer the normal indica effects. Relaxation throughout the body's muscles, a sleepy mindset, and reduction of aches and pains. It is best consumed in the evening or night, and can be a good strain to help with insomnia. Both novice and veteran consumers can easily enjoy this strain, especially for its taste.

Negative side-effects include small phases of paranoia or dizziness, depending on how much is consumed in one sitting.

For growers, Mango generally has a longer flowering period of nine to 11 weeks.

Growing Information

This strain grows both indoors and outdoors. Harvesting time indoors may begin around 7-9 weeks. Outdoor harvest begins around the end of September to the middle of October.
