The indica cannabis strain Raspberry Kush was named after is scent reminiscent of none other than sweet raspberries and creamy yet spicy undertones. Its buds are a light green and glittery with trichomes when harvest-ready, displaying long red pistils and slight hints of purple in some crops.

One of the parent strains of Raspberry Kush is Hindu Kush, along with another unknown.

The THC level averages at 15% and its high is known to begin in the head, slowly spreading throughout the body and relaxing the muscles like many indicas tend to do. However, it does create cerebral effects that cause social events to become seemingly more pleasurable, and is often consumed at social events and parties to help strike up conversations. It can also make listening to music or viewing art much more enjoyable. A boost in energy has been described by some reviewers. The sleepiness comes after the high melts off, so afternoon or evening use is often preferred.
