About Webster

70% sativa | 30% indica

Webster is a predominantly sativa strain that makes a great daytime smoke. This bud's genetics and original breeders are undocumented, but even so, there's no mystery about its buzzy appeal. Webster offers a dynamic citrus flavor and focused, energetic effects. The strains' THC content has been measured at between 15% and 23%.

Webster stands out with exceptionally large and solid flowers. The buds have a somewhat hybridized structure; they have the dense core usually associated with indicas but fluffy, sativa-like leaves that spiral together in folds, resembling coral. The leaves are a dark shade of forest green and are twisted through with dark brown pistils. Finally, these jumbo flowers are dusted with cloudy white trichomes, making them difficult to break up by hand.

A first whiff reveals fresh, tangy notes of orange. On closer inspection, there's also a dank, musky undertone. Grinding up or breaking open the flowers releases a hashy and peppery character, possibly suggesting descent from OG Kush. Webster gives off a harsh smoke when burnt and may cause some coughing or watery eyes. This smoke carries a woodsy and citrus-like flavor on the exhale.

Webster's high begins to reveal itself soon after users exhale its thick, fruity smoke. Almost right away, users may be struck by a concerted pressure around the temples and lower forehead, as well as a possible flushing in the cheeks. Once they get used to these odd sensations, though, consumers find that their thoughts are launched into a new orbit. Ideas and concepts may begin to take on a new gravity or may flow from one to the next in surprising associations. This kind of activated, plugged-in thinking makes Webster a good strain for executing both complicated analytical tasks and more freewheeling creative projects. It can also provide a nicely stimulated background for getting through mundane chores or laundry. Smokers may find that this burst of energy doesn't last particularly long, though. Within an hour or so, any motivated effects tend to melt into full-bodied relaxation.

While minds may still be an active and lucid conversation is still possible, consumers at this stage are more likely to indulge in some couch time than to get up and cross some things off their to-do list. Webster's eventual combination of mental and physical relaxation can be a great way to accomplish activities that involve both mind and body -- including gaming, exercising, and under the right circumstances, sex. Because of the slow-moving vibes that come through on its backend, Webster is recommended for the afternoon or early evening rather than morning use.

Webster's well-balanced effects give it a few different applications for medical cannabis patients. It may enable focus on single tasks for those with attention deficit disorders and may temporarily relieve the symptoms of mild to moderate stress and depression. This bud can also dull physical pain, whether it's chronic, as due to conditions like lupus or arthritis, or temporary, as due to injury. Anti-inflammatory effects, meanwhile, can take care of minor irritations like headaches or cramps. Because its onset may come with some intense cerebral effects, patients who are prone to panic should consume Webster with caution.

Seeds of Webster are not available for sale online. As such, prospective growers should seek of clippings from mature, healthy plants in order to foster clones. Once obtained, Webster can be grown indoors or out, although successful outdoor cultivation requires a semi-humid climate with daytime temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Plants tend to grow tall, and indoor gardeners may need to prune back their crops early on. Webster flowers within 9 to 10 weeks when grown indoors.

Webster can be a fun strain to share in party settings. If you do break it out around others, be ready for its compelling aroma to turn some heads.
